SHARE APK OR ANY FILE OF ANY SIZE WITH WHATSAPP!!!!

This trick can be used to send absolutely anything over whatsapp.
Lets take an android application as an example. Now whatsapp allows video, audio and image file sharing but not something l

Resoike an android application.(ext. .apk)
here it goes:

Go to file manager. And locate the file which you want to share here eg. Abc.apk

Now rename this to abc.apk.mp4

Go to whatsapp->share-> video and select abc.apk.mp4
And message the recipient to rename the file and delete ".mp4" from the name.

Voila.now You can successfully transfer anything over Whatsapp.
I have a trick to transfer any file of any size too. Let it be of something like 1.3gb, you can transfer that too. No root required. Drop a comment if you want to know.

Edit:
To share file of any size over Whatsapp:
This is not so much as a "trick". but it's just a way that I figured out.
The basic idea is splitting the file into 16mb smaller files. (16mb because it is the maximum size of video that can be directly shared over whatsapp.)

To split any file. download "free file splitter" (a freeware)

Its pretty simple. select source file-> destination folder-> set the 'size of a chunk' to custom i.e. 16mb

So if your file is of 1.3GB, you will have 82 files of 16mb size. now using above method. rename each file's extension to '.mp4' and upload all 82 of them following the same procedure as above.

How to receive that 1.3 GB file:
now that you have sent all 82 files to your friend all he needs to do is rename and delete ".mp4" from each one of them. and keep all of the files in the same folder. then your friend will need "free file splitter" installed in his system.
next step is pretty straightforward
Join Files-> select source-> Select destination-> Join.

breakfast is served.

lengthy isn't it?
do tell me if you have any better solution.

Video which shows splitting and joining of 317mb file into 16mb chunks.

How to share any type of file on whatsapp using Google Drive !!

We all use messaging apps to share media and different contents among our existing groups. With over an insanely large number of over a billion users worldwide, Whatsapp is a dominant player in connecting people today. While it allows us to share media like all other messaging apps , the current feature of sharing PDF's has definitely added a little bit of professional touch to it. But if we talk about the issue seriously, it's still a laughing stock if you wish to do some serious file sharing.

But there's a little work around to save the day. You can use your Google Drive account to share any type of file (photoshop, torrents,zip.... anything that Google Drive lets you upload <3) without even worrying about security issues by proving a simple one-click download link to the users.

Since Google Drive does not provide any such feature till now, so you need to do some very basic editing to the link provided by Google's "Share link" feature.

Steps :

1. Upload the desired file to Google Drive.
2. Click on the three vertical dots on the right side of the file.
3. A menu appears with "Share link" option.
4. Select the app.(here Whatsapp) Choose the contact.
A file hosted on Google Drive has a link that looks someting like this :

https://drive.google.com/file/d/FILE_ID/edit?usp=sharing

When you access this link, it will render the file in the browser but if you can rewrite this URL slightly, the link, when clicked, will download the corresponding file in the user’s browser instead of opening it in the browser. The modified URL would be:

https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=FILE_ID

All you have to do is make note of the FILE_ID in the original URL and use it in the modified URL. Happy sharing !!
Here's a short video showing how to create download link for a torrent file using Google Drive and share it using Whatsapp group :

GOOGLE ALLO AND DUO!!!!

In summary: Difficult to tell. Google is verrrrrry late for the party.
Reason: Facebook, Inc. owns the chat market. In this article by the Verge “Why Google's Allo messaging app is a big step backwards”, they argue that Google’s Allo is a big step backwards. In short, one needs to realize how enormous Whatsapp and Messenger are:
Facebook has 1 Billion monthly unique people using Whatsapp and 900 Millionuniques using Messenger. Competing with that is extremely challenging.
Google attempted to market many chat/communication like:
Google TalkBuzzHangouts
All were not as viral as Messenger or Whatsapp. Now, google’s card is an Artificially Intelligent chat app: Google’s Allo - something new. However, that doesn’t guarantee winning over Whatsapp or Messenger because its

TWILIGHT - Android Apps on Google Play

Do you face trouble falling asleep after using android device at night ?
Twilight can be the solution for your worries.
Researchers have determined that any bright lights at night can disrupt the sleep hormone melatonin, and that blue light is the most harmful. Worse, disruption of melatonin can contribute to obesity and cardiovascular disease as well. By making a small change to reduce the amount of bright white and blue light that goes into your eyes before bed, you can improve your health and overall quality of life.

Once installed, the app slowly adds a soft red filter over your display as the hours drag on. In the morning, your phone or tablet's screen will be bright white, but the app filters out the blues over time to try and reduce your exposure to the kind of bright, harsh light that keeps you awake at night and prevents you from falling into a deep sleep. The intensity of the red filter adjusts automatically, and is based on the sunset and sunrise times where you live. We tried the app out, and it works as advertised, although it takes a little getting used to at first.
