How to Detect if Someone's Stealing Your WiFi !!!

#The Scenerio :

It may be hard to imagine, but just a mere 20 years ago, the Internet was nothing more than a novelty. Today's laptops and mobile devices give us access to friends and endless entertainment practically anywhere via WiFi, 3G and 4G technologies.
*What's another name for Wi-Fi?
802.11 networking
Wi-Fi is also referred to as 802.11 networking. No matter what you call it, it's pretty flexible as far as Internet connections go: It requires no wires.

#Understanding WIFI :

A wireless network is comprised of a broadband Internet connection from a DSL(Digital Subscriber Line), cable or satellite modem. You attach the modem to the wireless router, which distributes the signal and creates a network.

*A wireless network uses ___ waves to transmit signals.
radio
Like cell phones, TVs and radios, a wireless network uses radio waves to transmit signals. Communication across wireless networks is pretty comparable to two-way radio communication.

#The Problem:

Is your wireless network running slowly? Do you have intermittent losses in Internet access and you can't figure out why?

*What device sends and receives radio signals in a wireless network?
router
Your computer, smartphone and other gadgets communicate with the wireless router using radio signals.

#The Solution:

First, take a breath. In all likelihood, no one is stealing your Internet.Tons of things could cause a slow connection. Your Internet service provider might be having issues or is overloaded with traffic. Your WiFi router might be experiencing interference from other electronics, or simply be having trouble penetrating the walls and furniture of your home to get a wireless signal to your computer.

 #1 The Password !

There's only one thing you need to prevent 99.9 percent of wireless squatters from using your Internet connection: a password.

*At what frequencies do Wi-Fi radios make transmissions?
2.4 GHz or 5 GHz
Wi-Fi radios transmit signals at 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz. These high frequencies allow the signal to carry more data.

#2 The Address

With WPA2 security enabled, it's unlikely anyone will ever piggyback on your network. But there's an easy way to spot squatters: Since every device connected to your network has a unique IP address and MAC address, you can easily see a list of connected devices -- often listed as "clients" -- on one of the settings pages for your wireless router.

*Which short-range wireless standard is used for Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPANs)?
802.15
The wireless standard used for WPANs is 802.15 -- it's also commonly used for Bluetooth technology.

#3 Invisible!!

Want to make absolutely sure no one's going to figure out your password and worm their way onto your network? You have a few options. Your router can hide its SSID, meaning it won't show up for anyone searching for connectable networks. The address will have to be entered manually. You can also set up a wireless MAC filter to "whitelist" devices you own, disabling access for anyone else.

*You can change the settings on your wireless router through a Web interface. One option you can change is channel. What channel do routers use by default?

6
Routers use channel 6 by default -- if you live in an apartment complex and your neighbors are using this same channel, you can sometimes get some interference. In addition to changing the channel, other settings you may wish to change include the name of your network and your router's security options.

#The Truth:

Smartphones changed everything, didn't they? A few short years ago, we hoarded WiFi like a precious commodity.Well, once we got smartphones with omnipresent data connections, we calmed down a bit. WiFi is now so ubiquitous that you don't have to worry too much about you neighbors leeching off of you -- they've probably got WiFi, too. We don't need to find hotspots when we've got 3G and 4G on our phones.

CARTOONS THAT MAKE YOU MISS YOUR CHILDHOOD!!!

CARTOONS YOU CAN'T FORGET

Today in the era of networking and technology , kids are deprieved of the fun cartoons which we watched as kids.
Well i don't need a smartphone when i was 8 for entertainment.
Back then Cartoons  are our sad kicker , our stress remover and our biggest entertainer .

Here's a list of tv cartoons, which we can't forget

1. TOM AND JERRY

It was a classic tv cartoon, one of the best of all time.
This was the ultimate cat and mouse fight. From being the cutest individuals, to eating cheese, or Tom trying to get into Jerry’s little house, the dog which lived outside, hitting each other on the head with a sauce pan or Jerry drinking the magical tonic and becoming huge, Tom trying every single means to catch Jerry, their dream world and the running around that they did still makes me laugh. The swimming pool episodes and the beach episodes were the best they had.
I still remember, the laugh they had after troubling each other.

2.POKEMON

One of the most successfull japanese anime series, Pokemon lies in our hearts from its beginning.

One of the main reasons for loving this show was the colours they used; it was attractive in every little way.

9. COURAGE , THE COWARDLY DOG

I liked this show so much, a story about a coward dog "Courage"which protects its family Muriel and Eustace  from all kinds of ghosts and weird thingies with help of his talking computer.
I loved the irony that a coward,s dog name is kept courage.

He was the one with all spiky hairstyles we all look today.
A 6 inch tall man with his black t shirt and stylish standing blonde hair, always trying to catch women but always ends with a beating by his mother.

A tank engine, set to its track roaming , meets new railway carriages and engines was totally a innovative idea.

Its narrator talks with in a touching way, with complete manners and all, this is what i like about this show

13. KOCHIKAME

I laugh when i think about it, a japanese anime series about a police officer RYOTSU and his most admirable body.
He is so tough that his body developed antibodies, which can cure a million disesases but he does'nt gives a shit about it and always do something funny and hillarious

VIRTUAL REALITY ON SMART PHONES

Have you ever thought about Virtual Reality, well you must have listened about it in Sci-fi movies,
Now have you ever thought how to get your hands on this advance technology.
Most of us don't know that one can get it for 30$ , yes really for 30$ and know what, you can experience it on your smartphone.
Its commonly known as VR headsets.
Today many well known companies are working on it and call it by different names such as,

  • FACEBOOK [ Oculus rift]
  • GOOGLE [Google cardboard]
  • SAMSUNG[gear vr]
  • SONY [PS VR] and almost 50 more.

Want to know how it actually works???

Well if you thought that vr works on a technology far advance than your thoughts , then dont worry
VR actually works on two simple concepts
1. Creating a wide view
2. Head tracking
VR headsets use either two feeds sent to one display or two LCD displays, one per eye. There are also lenses which are placed between your eyes and the pixels which is why the devices are often called goggles. In some instances, these can be adjusted to match the distance between your eyes which varies from person to person.
These lenses focus and reshape the picture for each eye and create a stereoscopic 3D image by angling the two 2D images to mimic how each of our two eyes views the world ever-so-slightly differently. Try closing one eye then the other to see individual objects dance about from side to side and you get the idea behind this.
One important way VR headsets can increase immersion is to increase the field of view i.e. how wide the picture is. A 360 degree display would be too expensive and unnecessary. Most high-end headsets make do with 100 or 110 degree field of view which is wide enough to do the trick.

Head tracking

Head tracking means that when you wear a VR headset, the picture in front of you shifts as you look up, down and side to side or angle your head. A system called 6DoF (six degrees of freedom) plots your head in terms of your x, y and z axis to measure head movements forward and backwards, side to side and shoulder to shoulder, otherwise known as pitch, yaw and roll.
It actually uses , your smartphone sensors like

Gyroscope- To measure angular velocity for heasmd rotation
Accelorometer- To measure linear velocity for head movement
Magnetic sensor- To measure your current magnetic direction
Orientation sensor- To measure your head orientation.
TO VIEW 360˚ alligned video, your phone must support gyroscope.

WHERE TO BUY IT???
Well there are a tons of VR headsets in market .
Ranging from Rs 100 to Rs 15000
Most companies are now bringing up pre defined VR headsets for various smartphone models, but there are a tons of universal VR headsets for smartphones with screen sizes [ 3.5 inches to 6.5 inches]
Here are some suggestions

  • Google cardboard
  • VR box 2.0
  • Samsung gear vr
  • Zebronics ultra  etc
Considering my opinion , i found VR BOX 2.0 better than all of them.

You can buy it on amazon for like  Rs 1000
www.amazon.in/Virtual-Reality-Glasses-Headsets-Samsung/dp/B01EZ312YU?tag=googinhydr18418-21&tag=googinkenshoo-21&ascsubtag=278af9cf-e824-47d9-8359-27f8d2b4f530
Lokking for discounts, Buy it on ebay for Rs 675

Also experience it on Google Chrome,
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ekm.chromevr

Why should i use this??

Well Experience matters and its really fun
You can go to places where you have never visited, you can literally walk around and explore
You can watch 3d movies and experience virtual reality 360˚ movies
You can view a 100 inch screen from your smartphone
What more u want

Consider my opinion , go get it
BELIVE ME , THIS IS THE FUTURE

BELIEVE IT OR NOT : A Bird is an employee at the Wimbledon & holds an official Job title

Rufus the Bird Scarer: Rufus is actually the name of a Hawk who does the duty of scaring pigeons and is employed by the “All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club”. Rufus is as famous as Andy Murray as Strawberry and creams at the Wimbledon.
During the Wimbledon, pigeons are often attracted to the grass courts as these are rich in grass seeds which they love. Rufus a Harris Hawk, has been employed to scare these pigeons away who make it difficult to maintain the courts otherwise. These pigeons can also cause major disruption in play.
Rufus has a PA, an official ID card with the job title “Bird Scarer” and also a head gear and tracking device when he is working. Davis Imogen the falconer is Rufus’s PA, she takes care of Rufus and also trains Rufus to scare the pigeons and he covers around 42 acres of land.
Rufus Patrols the courts from 5 am to 9 am until the crowd settles down. He doesn’t hunt when he is full and kills pigeons when he is hungry, so extra care is taken to fly him when he is neither hungry nor full, so that he can be only used as a deterrent.
Rufus is quite famous in England and he is now described as an “important member of the Wimbledon Family”. He Succeeded Hamish the Hawk and he has also been employed to scare pigeons away from Westminster Abbey, various hospitals, airfields, and landfill sites.

SHARE APK OR ANY FILE OF ANY SIZE WITH WHATSAPP!!!!

This trick can be used to send absolutely anything over whatsapp.
Lets take an android application as an example. Now whatsapp allows video, audio and image file sharing but not something l

Resoike an android application.(ext. .apk)
here it goes:

Go to file manager. And locate the file which you want to share here eg. Abc.apk

Now rename this to abc.apk.mp4

Go to whatsapp->share-> video and select abc.apk.mp4
And message the recipient to rename the file and delete ".mp4" from the name.

Voila.now You can successfully transfer anything over Whatsapp.
I have a trick to transfer any file of any size too. Let it be of something like 1.3gb, you can transfer that too. No root required. Drop a comment if you want to know.

Edit:
To share file of any size over Whatsapp:
This is not so much as a "trick". but it's just a way that I figured out.
The basic idea is splitting the file into 16mb smaller files. (16mb because it is the maximum size of video that can be directly shared over whatsapp.)

To split any file. download "free file splitter" (a freeware)

Its pretty simple. select source file-> destination folder-> set the 'size of a chunk' to custom i.e. 16mb

So if your file is of 1.3GB, you will have 82 files of 16mb size. now using above method. rename each file's extension to '.mp4' and upload all 82 of them following the same procedure as above.

How to receive that 1.3 GB file:
now that you have sent all 82 files to your friend all he needs to do is rename and delete ".mp4" from each one of them. and keep all of the files in the same folder. then your friend will need "free file splitter" installed in his system.
next step is pretty straightforward
Join Files-> select source-> Select destination-> Join.

breakfast is served.

lengthy isn't it?
do tell me if you have any better solution.

Video which shows splitting and joining of 317mb file into 16mb chunks.
